energy sources lighting will remain a dominant trend in the future

Green Lighting China 2010 is targeting visitors from government departments (municipal construction, environmental protection, highway construction and municipal divisions); real estate developers and engineering projects; consumer electronics manufacturers (TVs, computers and phones) and other applications manufacturers, to create a comprehensive, high end industry show for both exhibitors and visitors.

The development of novel light and energy sources lighting will remain a dominant trend in the future. The launch of a semiconductor lighting application project - “Ten Cities, Ten Thousand Lights” - in 2009 was followed by a nationwide drive lead by the Ministry of Science and Technology. As well as being one of the first 21 pilot cities for this project, alongside Hangzhou, Yangzhou, Ningbo and Wuhan, among others, Shanghai is also the location of Expo 2010 Shanghai, an event which will create great business opportunities for companies from the novel light and energy sources lighting industry. This sector will experience explosive growth in the Yangtze River Delta Area and across the country.

The next round of revolutionary technological and industrial development is bound to stimulate widespread demand for information about the market for green lighting, as well as its technologies and talent. How to increase market share and develop opportunities will be a core focus during the event. A symposium titled The Application of Novel Energy Lighting will focus on solar PV lighting, photovoltaic-wind hybrid lighting and electric supply hybrid lighting.  It will look specifically at how to combine these applications with new energies.
