This new LED lamp can work with dry battery, and be used in portable sterilization device and nutrient solution sterilization. The technology has received basic patents from Japan and United States, and is scheduled to be commercial in 2015.
Local tri-state area residents, who see LED high bay light nightly, are invited to look up at the building and vote for their favorite shade of color via the ESB Facebook page. ESB fans around the world also have the opportunity to vote on ESB's Facebook. The final seven selected colors will be announced the week of January 21, 2013.
The Empire State Building unveiled its new state-of-the-art LED lighting system designed by Philips Color Kinetics. The new lighting system is unique to ESB and allows customized light capabilities from a palette of over 16 million colors in limitless combinations along with special effects such as ripples, sparkles, cross-fades and bursts.
An additional benefit comes as the sealed units do not attract dust or insects, making them the most hygienic option for any conveniencestore. The lack of heat given off by the units also means that produce stays fresher for longer and chillers and air conditioning doesn’t need to work as hard, saving further energy usage.
